Meeting Room Charges (for groups who are NOT having either lunch or evening meal here)
Per Session (a session is morning, afternoon or evening) (excl. VAT)

  • Chapel (seats up to 60)  


  • Main Lounge (seats up to 48)


  • Boardroom (seats up to 30)


  • St Mary's Room (seats up to 20)  


  • St Peter's Room (seats up to 8)


  • Library (seats up to 4)


  • If tea / coffee and biscuits are required there is an additional charge per person booked for.



A non-refundable deposit is charged for all reservations.

For all residential groups deposits of the following amounts (excl VAT) are requested:

  • For a group of 1-8


  • For a group of 9-16
    (If the final group number is 8 or less a £100 cancellation fee will be charged)


  • For a group of 17-22
    (If the final group number is between 9 - 16 a £50 cancellation fee will be charged; if it is 8 or less the cancellation fee will be £150)


  • For a group of 23+
    (If the final group number is between 17 -22 a £100 cancellation fee will be charged; if it is between 9 - 16 the cancellation fee will be £150; if it is 8 or less the cancellation fee will be £250)


For all non-residential groups a deposit of £50 (excl VAT) is required, or payment in full if the total amount due to Bishop Woodford House for the booking is less than £50.

If at a later stage you wish to increase the number of places booked this may be possible, please contact the Warden.

What’s Included

Our charges are all inclusive from the food you eat (including tea & coffee) to the use of all available meeting rooms and equipment, which includes an digital projector, screen, TV, DVD, VCR, flip chart, white board, overhead projector, CD player and electric piano.


All prices shown are excluding VAT.  VAT will be added where applicable at the current rate.
